1rst edition, September 2015 : "Time, Language, Music: what are we talking about?"

The very first edition of Les Rencontres Musicales et Scientifiques took place at Le Thoureil on Septembre 5-6th in 2015. This edition reunited composers Christine Groult, Aurélien Dumont, Rainer Rubbert and Elisabeth Angot; researchers Aline Frey, Danielle Cohen-Levinas and Célia Poulet, and the Quatuor Girard.

The two roundtables were dedicated to explore the issues at the core of the next editions of the festival. The Quatuor GIrard offered two concerts with repertoire and contemporary music, and Christine Groult performed a concert through the history of electroacoustic composition.
